Welcome

So, I have had this blog for a while and have not yet written anything. I think that it is time to start.

I am someone who has great dreams but does not always know how to make them happen. So today I took two large steps forward.
One: I am writing this blog. Writing is something I have wanted to do for sometime but have never taken the time to do so. I have a lot of adventures that need to be shared with the world.
Two: I have applied to one of the state schools to start a PhD program in English. My entire educational background is Business and really nothing else. I have always wanted to pursue a degree in English and this program will let me do that. I am excited! I need some new direction in my life. I feel that the past two years have just been motion and no desire or direction.

So, this is the start of a new adventure to compliment all the old ones. I think it appropriate that my blog be called Adventures in LA (LA is my initials and have always been important to me).

So I hope you enjoy what I have to say and continue to follow me on this path. And one day maybe you will read my book if I am so lucky!
